HEART (Home Education and Responsible Teaching) exists to glorify God through supporting one another in our common conviction to "train up a child in the way he should go." (Proverbs 22:6) We are an organization with Christian leadership, and as a group, we reflect Judeo-Christian principles and operate from a Biblical worldview. All home educators, regardless of personal beliefs, are welcome for encouragement, support, and information.

ARTICLE VI: MEMBERSHIP
Any family currently home schooling children ages 3 -21 or have graduated a high school student through homeschooling while a member of HEART may become a member of HEART, upon completed application, the payment of annual dues, and agreement to abide by these bylaws.
HEART membership is for the school year beginning June 1st and ending May 31st. Members of HEART receive access to the website and may participate in HEART-sponsored field trips and activities. Members should regularly attend meetings and volunteer in HEART activities
In the sections labeled “primary” and “secondary” names, please enter the parents’ names. There is a separate box below for children’s names. Knowing how many children are in HEART helps us better plan activities and events.HEART Membership requires the following:
(1) Currently homeschooling according to Texas state law by teaching reading, spelling, grammar, mathematics, and good citizenship.
(2) Reading and complying with the Bylaws and Guidelines for HEART Sponsored Activities (see links above).
(3) Completion of Online Registration. Items with an asterisk are required. Please mark all that apply under "Sections."
(4) Payment of Membership Dues.
Upon completion of the application and payment, your information will be reviewed and you will receive access to the website after approval by the Membership Liaison. Please allow up to 48 hours for approval.
